Students learn more through experience

It’s my mission to make meaningful learning experiences accessible to all students by providing support for educators, leaders, and homeschoolers.

Having taught in public and private schools while building my own curriculum, managing behaviors, and taking responsibility for student growth, I know the difficulty of adding in off-campus experiences. That’s why I’m here to help. As an experiential educator, I found it incredibly hard to find resources (especially at the secondary level) to help with planning, budgeting, or even knowing how to get my students out of the classroom in a meaningful way.

Those challenges led me here.

I truly believe, and have seen first hand, that when students get out of the classroom for a few foundational experiences, they make deeper connections with one another and with their learning.

Drawing on years of my own experience teaching, leading, guiding, and mentoring students all over the world, I help teachers give their students foundational experiences that they’ll never forget.

    Immersive, daily plans to get students out of the textbook and get their hands on an experience. Project-based, thematic units centered around key experiences for any subject. Place-based and aligned to your standards.

  • Professional Development

    Sessions on building meaningful units around key experiences, making and fostering local and global relationships, and implementing the experiential learning cycle in curriculum you already have.

  • Program Planning

    Most teachers want to get their students out, but don’t have time to plan, vet, and schedule a meaningful adventure. That’s where I come in. One day or a whole year, I can put together an itinerary to meet your outcomes.

  • Program Alignment

    Whatever your experience, I’ll make sure it’s aligned to standards, objectives, and/or school and class values. I can also provide skills progressions, strategies for differentiation, and work between subjects or grade levels to align programs.
